Purple Nerds, also known simply as “Nerds,” is an evenly balanced hybrid (50% indica/50% sativa) strain created through a cross of the delicious (Grape Ape X Strawberry Cough) X Nerds. The exact indica to sativa ratio can vary based on the version of Nerds that was used in the backcross, although it tends to lean towards being evenly balanced. Like the name suggests, Purple Nerds has a sweet grapey flavor with touches of sweet fruits and spicy strawberry. The aroma is surprisingly spicy with a hashy earth overtone and a touch of fruity grape and strawberries that is surprisingly sweet. Purple Nerds buds have round bright neon green nugs with dark purple undertones and a super frosty thick coating of bright vibrant white crystal trichomes. The Purple Nerds high is very relaxing and uplifted in nature with a sense of sedation that makes it perfect for unwinding at the end of a long day. It starts with a slowly creeping euphoric lift that leaves you feeling happy and completely relaxed without an increase in energy. As the high builds, a warming body buzz that's pretty mellow will wash over you, easing away pains and leaving you relaxed but not sedated. A very uplifting, yet relaxing strain. The slight sedating effects of the strain are perfect for overcoming anxiety and insomnia, but aren't overly heavy which makes the strain great for social settings, work, and art-making. The euphoria and head-high of the strain's sativa parent are very prominent and give it great depression-fighting properties, while the heaviness of the grape ape's genetics come through in the best way possible to balance it out, causing immense stress relief.A buddy of mine recently acquired an oil cartridge filled with this strain, and the taste is incredible. The oil is quite thick and flows very slowly and has a beautiful golden brown, almost amber color. The taste ranks among the best tasting dabs I've tried as well. An initial grape jelly-like flavor on the inhale gives way to flavors of candy, with an undertone of classic dank cannabis on the exhale. The hit is also quite easy on the lungs. There's enough of a throat hit to know you're getting a hit, but even on the largest hits, is incredibly smooth and is easy to exhale.I would recommend this strain to both new users and connoisseurs alike. It's a very happy high that is not overly intense, but still delivers powerful effects for veteran users.

The TASTE is amazing.The aromatherapy like smell fills the room as the high slowly provide a sense of relaxation and nothing but happy high stress free thoughts.
